Fatima, I can’t tell you how appreciative I am of you and your entire approach to patient care and your support of me through the process.   True empathy towards patients and their challenges, both physical and psychological, is rare amongst medical professionals (but it is so important!!) and you are the most caring, supportive person I have ever encountered in the medical field.  And because you are so smart and professional as well, you are able to have a bigger impact.  Words alone don’t really do much when the patient feels that the provider does not really believe what the doctor or nurse is saying or that they know what they are talking about.   With you, it is the opposite.  You obviously care, and you are a real pro.   You were so incredibly helpful and supportive to me, and I can’t thank you enough.
